RETURNS POLICY


We have a 14-day return policy, which means you have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

To start a return, you can contact us at Tamara@tamaradesignco.com.If your return is accepted, we’ll send you instructions on how and where to send your package. Returns must be sent via a tracked Australia Post service and you will be required to send a photo of the parcel with its tracking label and a lodgement receipt. Tamara Design Co will take no responsibility for returned items which are damaged or lost in transit during their return. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Exceptions / non-returnable items
Certain types of items cannot be returned, such as custom printed and custom made products, unless there is a fault or defect. It is the obligation of the customer to request colour & print samples before committing to a custom order. There may be slight seasonal variations with our basecloths - customers are encouraged to request a recent sample swatch if needing a perfect match with previously purchased items.

Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Shipment processing time
All orders are processed within 2-3 business days, unless otherwise stated on the individual product page (eg custom made products). Some homeware items such as cushion covers may need to be made to order during times of high sales volumes, in which case your order will be dispatched in approx 28days. Orders are not shipped or delivered on weekends or holidays. All fabric and wallpaper is printed to order. Allow 21 days for printing and shipping of your fabric and wallpaper that includes samples.

If we are experiencing a high volume of orders, shipments may be delayed by a few days. Please allow additional days in transit for delivery. If there will be a significant delay in shipment of your order, we will contact you via email or telephone.

Shipping rates & delivery estimates

Shipping charges for your order will be calculated and displayed at checkout. You can calculate shipping charges on the Cart page before proceeding to the checkout. Please be aware that there may sometimes be delivery processing delays beyond our control.

Customs, Duties and Taxes
Tamara Design Co is not responsible for any international customs and taxes applied to your order. All fees imposed during or after shipping are the responsibility of the customer (tariffs, taxes, etc.).

Damages
Tamara Design Co will cover the cost of lost or damaged packages at our sole discretion. Please contact us if your parcel has not arrived within a reasonable timeframe. Tamara Design Co reserves the right to delay the dispatch of replacement goods until we deem that a suitable time period has elapsed and that the parcel is lost and irretrievable. We anticipate that some periods of time (eg during Pandemic times or high traffic holiday seasons) deliveries may take longer than expected and request your patience during these times.

Please save all packaging materials and damaged goods before filing a claim.
